Frequently Asked Questions
How does IMEX differ from banks and other currency sources?
When a customer turns to their bank to do a currency transaction they are seeking assistance from a foreign exchange (FX) professional who represents the interests of the bank. His job is to make money on that trade for the bank. With most of the advantages usually on the side of the bank it's not surprising that foreign exchange is the banking industry's most profitable area.
IMEX, on the other hand, places you, the customer, at the top of the priority ladder. We are your FX professionals, protecting your interests on each trade to ensure you always receive the most competitive exchange rate.
That's the IMEX Advantage!
What are the average savings for IMEX clients?
Percentages of savings vary from case to case. Because it is impossible to predict with absolute certainty the exact savings a client will realize in all transactions, we suggest they compare the exchange rates from their bank with those available through IMEX.
In general, savings will range from 1% to 3% when IMEX arranges a firm's foreign currency exchange transactions.
What types of companies can benefit from IMEX?
Any company with a need for exchanging one currency for another is likely to benefit by working with IMEX. Clients include importers, exporters and various internationally active organizations.
